I’m using Alen 45i and 35i in our home and they work great. we have 2 cats and these machines remove any pet and cooking odors. filter needs to be replaced once a year. Having an app makes it handy to check or change settings as needed, also has a schedule option. good machines for the money.

Most under 200 dollar range purifiers just are not built to last long on general. I suggest checking the warranty before buying...and most...come with a 1 year warranty. Purifiers under 200 wont do much for odors unfortunately. Or not for very long. You need thicker filters with black carbon pellets -these absorb odors. For VOC's + odors Austin Air is very good but you would need to pay about 750 (they might have a cheaper one ?). That's one of the best, and probably worth it for your health imo. As you aren't even sure what your triggers are possibly, you want to get something very good. So those have a very large
