How long for new-filter smell to dissipate on the Coway Airmega ProX?

Yeah, I could get 2 x 45i for the same price as 1 x 75i at current sales, and the 2 x 45i would give me more CADR with less noise, since 2 x 45i at speed 1 gives a CADR half-way between speeds 2 & 3 with 1 x 75i (and better coverage, since I could put them at two different locations in my room). Spe

Anyone with experience with alen air purifiers.

I’m using Alen 45i and 35i in our home and they work great. we have 2 cats and these machines remove any pet and cooking odors. filter needs to be replaced once a year. Having an app makes it handy to check or change settings as needed, also has a schedule option. good machines for the money.

Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde for hayfever

Good brands with affordable units are Winix, Levoit, Coway, Alen, and many more. A Levoit Core 600 for instance is around 280 dollars and does 350 range CFM...almost double the Dyson for 1/4th the cost. Winix + Coway have great units too. (Coway used a fungicide/pesticide on the filters for antibact

Please help me find an air purifier for my issues.

For VOC's + odors Austin Air is very good but you would need to pay about 750 (they might have a cheaper one ?). That's one of the best, and probably worth it for your health imo. As you aren't even sure what your triggers are possibly, you want to get something very good. So those have a very large

Looking for plain HEPA filter to reduce cigarette smoke content, no ionizer options please!

Hepa filters don't do anything for smoke. Some purifiers have a thin strip of black carbon, and the carbon binds to the carbon in smoke. However a little strip isn't going to do much, only a little. For smoke you need filters with carbon pellets, that absorb smoke + odors. (Or carbon strips but thin

Looking for the best air purifier I can pick up at a physical store. Ohio USA

Alen Air all the way. Tried just about every purifier sold From Target, Walmart, Kohls, Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Menards… Almost all went back Shark used to be good, but their newer filters smelled like chemicals and they were super loud. Germ Guardian was ok, but quality dropped. Dyson is a jo

Anyone with experience with alen air purifiers.

It's better not to run it on low, as it can't filter as much air on low...so your getting like half the CFM pretty much that way. Alens are quiet anyway and already energy efficient...and built to run continuously....so it's a good idea to just let it run on high a good amount of the time. But I lov

Anyone with experience with alen air purifiers.

I've had just about every brand of air purifier. I highly recommend Alen air purifiers. I have two 75i's and a 45i. I've had the 75i's for two years now and they have been excellent. The cost of filters is high but that also insures your purchase with the lifetime warranty so hard to go wrong. They

Air purifier for 10x12 nursery

I have the Alen 25i in my office and would also be great for a small nursery. Only 40 db at its highest setting which is great for babies since you want to keep it under 50 db. I also really like how it sounds. A 35i or flex would also be a great choice. I like the flex because it’s a 45i without al

Best air purifier for newborn on oxygen support

Get an AustinAir if you have the budget. (750 range, Great for odors + VOC's/allergies etc.) Alens are also good for odors/VOCs with their best filter. (Alen 45i 350). Winix, Coway, and Levoit all good brands in general as well, although none specialize in odor/VOC area, all have good all-around uni
