Used nord, worked fine but it can't do port forwarding for seeding properly, tried airvpn but it was a mess, barely worked, when it did it performed terribly dropped it after 2weeks and the software was they use holy, this was written by Terry Davis himself I

What's the best vpn for linux right now?

Currently using AirVPN on Linux with no complaints. Also use AirVPN, they have a nice and easy UI to build a Wireguard config, which is what I use.

Update to private trackers randomly stalling for good - Same issue, but more information

You noted that you're using AirVPN and having DNS issues, I've seen some people with similar issues before. I wonder if this advice might apply: If they go to this URL: https://airvpn.org/sessions/ By default, AirVPN uses their own DNS but if you turn on Customize device DNS settings it will use you

Advise on choosing MacOS client

Eddie has extra features native to AirVPN, such as seeing how many people are on a server and the bandwidth load %, so I'd go with that

I used Eddie, Hummingbird and the CLI, but I found others (Mullvad, indeed) to have much simpler, polished and effective user interfaces that take care of every

My first Linux experience (CachyOS): What I liked, what I hated.

I installed CachyOS and Mint, in a tri-boot configuration with Windows, to try them out. Mint is definitely better out of box for a noob. I was able to get AirVPN working easily with Wireguard through their software client, Eddie. On CachyOS, I could not. I can't get the client to install correctly

Which premium subscription is actually worth the money in 2026?

I use AirVPN because it's pretty cheap, doesn't renew, and can have advanced features if you need them. In my case, TCP/UDP port passthrough via the VPN tunnel because my ISP firewalls them. It's operated by a community of activists etc.

hey guys can someone help me set up soulseek?

I think Germany does not like sharing of material- this means get a VPN. There are many choices, I use AirVPN. You can download songs without having songs first, generally speaking. Just keep your downloaded songs available for others. There are a lot of tutorials on how to install soulseek. I would

Is AirVPN still good?

I run AirVPN through Gluetun and it works well. The setup steps are fairly straightforward and well documented.
