Good frfr speaker for the GP200?
If it’s for home use, get a set of Studio Monitors. They cost the same as most affordable FRFR speakers and they sound way better. Plus you can play in stereo. For instance a pair of Adam Audio T5V’s. Great sounding speakers! And very affordable.

Studio monitor recommendations for beginner studio
Forget about bluetooth for decent studio monitors. Bluetooth is for party speakers. I highly recommend Adam Audios, I have the T7V's for years and I will never change. I was slow to add in the T10S sub as it is so much more money again, but I do not regret it. You will realise the difference it make

Looking for advice on what music hardware/software to buy for a beginner.
Audio interface like a Scarlett 2i2 and Monitors (Adam T5V are pretty good and don't break the bank), you'll need them eventually anyways.

It took 2 years, but it’s finally ready.
Yes, he could. He could get an actual set of studio monitors for that money which would be way better than this consumer hifi edifier thing that was suggested lmao. Even budget sets like Adam Audio T5V's would be better for the exact same price.

You can get a pair of Adam Audio T5V for $400 and they sound great, specially if you’re into electronic music.

Looking for affordable studio monitors for my 2i2...
"Affordable" is subjective. What is your budget? In my eyes Adam Audio T5V or T8V's are very good price/performance

Recommended speakers?
I'd recommend starting with a pair of Adam Audio T5V's or T7V Then after you figure out your acoustic treatment, you can upgrade your system with the matching sub

Switching from a 50W Marshall Stack to a Home Rig: Quad Cortex, Headrush, or just a Desktop Amp?
If it’s merely for home use and you’re getting a modeller, be sure to go with studio monitors instead of an FRFR speaker. I’m coming from using an FRFR and today I got a set of studio monitors. What a huge improvement !!! For the same money you pay for 1 decent FRFR cab you could easily get a set (2

LF speakers for my boyfriends birthday
If you could push the budget a little bit the Adam Audio T5V's are highly recommend for music production, they retail at £290 for the pair, or you could pick them up 2nd hand for less maybe.

Heya! I'd recommend this as a basic kit: Ableton Live Suite: This has all the tools, sequencers, and synthesizers you need to get started. Unfortunately the Standard version doesn't. €599 Scarlet 2i2 3rd gen: To interface between your laptop and audio devices €120 Beyerdynamic 770 pro headphones €14
