I always see people recommending mini led monitors over cheap oleds. So what mini led monitor under 500$ USD is worth it?

If you're in Europe you're kinda SOL unfortunately, for anybody else looking. The el-cheapo champion (that honestly punches way above its weight, well into the $600 range) is the AOC Q27G40XMN. 1440p HVA panel, 180hz, VESA HDR1000 certification -- and it'll hit IIRC into the 1400 nit range peak -- f

Looking for 32” 4K monitor with HDMI 2.1 + 120Hz (OLED if possible) – need suggestions

Dont go for OLED if main goal is coding. Text clarity is just ok at 4k and even worse at 1440p. Look for mini led for a compromise like Acer Nitro XV275K although its 27 inch. A used neo G7 would cost around 40k and would be decent as well. If you want OLED MSI MAG 321up has gone on sale around 65-7

I recommend mini LED monitors

Acer XV275K. It's probably the best 27" 4k Mini-LED monitor. Here's the review for the older model (P3), the new one (P5) has 1152 dimming zones: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/acer/nitro-xv275k-p3biipruzx

Need advice on Samsung 32" Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD) 4K UHD 240Hz

Yeah same experience either the dell qa oled that I purchased. I saw the G8 is Best Buy and notice the same fringing although less when being close up. It’s not ment for text and reading for long hours. It’s more for media consumption. Good choice to return while in the window. I got a Acer XV275K P

$300 Acer Nitro XV275U or $500 AOC Q27G40XMN?

$300 Acer Nitro XV275UThe AOC would be around $500 after currency conversion and border fees. My inner Sherlock told me you live in Canada. If you do, CC has Acer Nitro XV275K P5 right now for 550, which gives you a 4K IPS panel instead of 1440p VA and the same number of mini led zones for not much

Finalizing PS5 monitor

For PS5 gaming under $500, the Acer Nitro XV275K P5 is honestly your best bet from that list - it has proper HDMI 2.1 support for 4K 120Hz. I was researching similar options last month and found the Gigabyte M28U often comes in around your price point too with great PS5 compatibility. Both should ha

Acer Nitro XV275K V3biipprx or Acer Predator X27U A1 ?

Between these two, the Predator X27U A1 is the better pure gaming display for motion quality, contrast, and HDR, while the Nitro XV275K V3/P3 is the better “do‑everything” 4K option with no burn‑in anxiety and that dual‑mode 4K/1080p flexibility. Acer Nitro XV275K V3/P3 is the smarter buy at the sam

As a programmer, what are some good monitors for writing code you've used?

I have had many bad monitors, and I am not happy with my current one either. I know that if I buy a new one, I would avoid gaming monitors (I have asus one, unusable for coding) and it must be OLED with sufficiently high resolution/minimal pitch between pixels. I actually love my notebook's OLED scr

Need help - Monitor Suggestion

Get S2725QS @ 27.8k if you are connecting it to a tower/console.Get S2725QC @ 31.2k if you are connecting it to a laptop. It has an integrated USB hub. You can use it to charge the laptop. Everything else is suboptimal. You need crisp text for coding i suppose. And a high refresh rate for gaming. He
