That's what I did with my L70! That's my only gripe about the acebeam h30, no battery gauge, and when the battery gets low instead of throttling down to the 1 of the lowest settings, it does long blink with the light being of for 1.5 seconds.

That mount is sweet but still that Ryobi light is huge and only up to 575 Lumens and 2Ah battery.
