Any switch controllers that feel like Xbox?

You might like the 8bitdo controllers feel. I’ve got an sn30 pro 2 (think SNES meets PS2 but with all modern buttons) and the plastic texture feels pretty similar to what I remembered my Xbox one controller did. I’m actually really interested in 8bitdo Ultimate 2 for Switch/Windows use.

8bitdo is an unreliable company and if you're thinking of buying one of their controllers to use with your Switch/Switch 2, just buy a Nintendo controller.

I own 5 products 8bitDo products. Personally I’ve had no issues with their controllers except the SN30 Pro’s analog stick rubber kinda breaking apart. The no wake-up is definitely a bummer too.

SNES controllers in stock

i'd say the 8bitdo ones and the official ones have a similar build quality, except the shoulder buttons i find to be better on the 8bitdo, the nso ones are strangely clacky. i don't have an original snes controller to compare it to, but i feel like the 8bitdo's shoulder buttons are more like what i

Movement problem?

Then in that case you might be experiencing input lag caused by the Bluetooth connection, it can be really bad depending on the controller and the system you're using. I used to use my old 8Bitdo SN30 Pro wireless on my Switch and the lag was so bad I couldn't time the perfect hit on Incineroar's co

I don’t understand the debate over the price for the Steam controller

Eh, wouldn't say that his statement is untrue either. It depends on the specific controller and the games you play. I've had 3 8bitdo controllers over the years: sn30 pro (1st version which looked more like a snes controller), pro 2 wired controller and pro 3 in gamecube colorway. Sn30 pro has VERY

Disappointed with d-pad on Pro 2 for Xbox.

SN30, Pro 2 and Pro 2 Xbox dpads were always bad. Stiff, with bad diagonals, just very generic membrane dpad. No wonder 8bitdo redesigned it like 2 or 3 times with every new revision and model. I can only imagine one type of gamers who consider it "great" - people who used to mash and press their dp

New build Pi 3

I have a pi3 with a hifiberry board running retropie. Ps1 and snes work well, didn't really try the others so much as they're not important for me. 8bitdo's controllers work well, i have a wired usb model sn30 pro and a wireless something something zero. No analog sticks but don't need them for ps1

Nintendo controllers teir list

This ☝️ It makes me wonder how much it has to do with what consoles one had in their formative years. For me, SNES controller is definitely top-tier. I use the 8bitdo SN30 Pro about as often as my Switch 2 Pro Controller.
