Want to play OOT but don’t have a N64 or 3DS

The 8bitdo 64 controller is the best version of the N64 controller

Do the 8BitDo 64 Controllers Work on Linux?

Can't speak to the 64 controllers specifically, but, my ultimate 2 wireless worked right off the bat on CachyOS. The neat thing with v2 is they've put a usb port in the charging doc so that you don't have to plug the wireless adapter into the PC on its own, you can just leave it plugged in in the do

8bitdo Controller - N64, PC, and Switch compatible?

What I'm curious about is if the Switch reads this controller as an N64 controller. I don't really have a need for it since I have the Brawler 64 and the Switch reads that one as an N64 controller, but I like 8BitDo and wouldn't mind getting a second N64 controller at some point.

Regret

The A3D really brought home how different the Nintendo Switch Online emulation is from the original console. The 8bitDo controller feels better than the n64 controller ever did, and I’m rediscovering stuff like Mario 64 more or less the way I remember it. The overclock option is nice on kusoge games

The only games that require it are third party games not published by Nintendo… though a lot of them don’t require it to save either. That’s

iPad Bluetooth N64 Controller?

The 8BitDO 64 controller is amazing on iPad using Delta. I highly recommend it, and to update the firmware as soon as you get it.

MicroSD card that comes with 3D

The Analogue 3D does not include a microSD card. It’s just an SD card, though it isn’t exactly full-sized (the slot is). The virtual controller pak game saves do save to it but that feature is only properly supported if you have an 8BitDo 64 controller. There is limited support for the 8BitDo DIY Mo

Finally bought proper N64 controllers after years of using anything but. Much more comfortable.

The first one is an 8bitdo 64 and the other with the smooth analogue nub is the retro fighter brawler 64. The 8bitdo feels like the better controller overall in terms of overall build quality, compatibility and comfort but I really like the retro fighter aswell, the dpad feels more accurate and the
