Help me stop my gf from getting a Nespresso Machine! [550-600]

I have an 1zpresso x-ultra and use it for espresso everyday and it's great. That being said if your girlfriend is considering/interested in a nespresso manually grinding coffee beans for espresso is probably the opposite of what she wants to do in the morning

been interested in coffee for three years, found this old pourover from my mom which is perfectly suited for the filters I use. Don't have a good grinder yet.

In that case x ultra is a great choice. If you want something that fits in the plunger of an aeropress, 1zpresso Q is also a great grinder and will produce a similar cup quality. However the dial on X-ultra is substantially easier to use and has more fine-grained adjustments, but the magnetic catch

Really Confused between grinders😵‍💫 timemore c2 ,c3, s ,esp ????

If you don't make espresso, the esp is eliminated, I have had the c3pro and I liked it, it is comfortable to grind and it is not big. Now I have a 1Zpresso x ultra but the price goes up a lot in comparison. The c3pro will be good for French and mocha. C2 is an older model, especially for espresso an

What is this thing?!

Unfortunately it’s way too easy to spend too much money on the hobby. No kidding! So far its relatively under control, I do have a good grinder, but it's a hand grinder (1Zpresso X-ultra). I like the idea of keeping things as simple as possible. I'm using a moka pot right now. I love the concept of

Free Talk Friday!

Short answer: better coffee. Alternate answer: caffeine tablets. If this is really about self-medication and you just don't enjoy the drinks, which is fine, there's nothing wrong with just taking it like paracetamol. And now back to lovely coffee... u/Phimstone makes a fine suggestion to try espress

Thoughts on using 1zpresso J Ultra + Flair Power Tower vs. DF54 [Budget $200-$300]

I have a 1zpresso X-Ultra and a DF54. I don't feel like grinding is a workout but it is a thing to consider. I've done 4 double shots (18g) back to back without issues. And I prefer the taste that my 1zpresso gives me more than the DF54. DF54 gives me some sourness and more clarity. Some might like

Would the X Ultra add anything to my collection?

I think the X Ultra would be similar (but not the same) as the K Ultra. I would say keep it, because it’s easier to travel with, plus so easy to dial in. It’s a really solid grinder. And hey having more hand grinders is never an issue, they have such a small footprint and the build quality of 1zpres

Coffee grinder suggestions - under 10K

Which espresso machine do you have? Now for the grinder, I suggest you strech your budget and get a grinder with an external adjustment system. It will be easier for you to dial in the shots. I highly recommend the 1zpresso X-Ultra, my friend uses it daily with his flair 58 and he is very happy with

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread

I have the x-ultra and the ZP6. The x-ultra I'd classify as a mid-range all-purpose grinder. Compared to one of their their flagship grinders, like the ZP6 (which is a specialised light-roast pourover grinder), K-ultra (pourover-leaning all purpose) or J ultra (espresso focused grinder), the main co

Usei por 2 anos esse aí, doei pra um colega recentemente pq comprei um 1zpresso x ultra. Claro q o 1zpresso é melhor mas o custo benefício desse moedor é particularmente impressionante. Me serviu mt bem pro v60, prensa e aeropress
