Pans are fun until it’s a favorite but pricey item :(
The YSL candy glaze is quite thickish and sticky. The YSL candy glow is very stiff balm and it gets grainy over time. The YSL loveshine lipstick is a lip oil stick so it's a very thin oily lipstick consistency.

OPINION: Not all luxury makeup products are worth the splurge
so true. i bought the YSL Candy Glaze Gloss Stick and i still regret it. i really like the color and the way it shines, but you could get something significantly cheaper instead :[

Hourglass glossy balm: odd texture, a bit sticky and messy. Not much product for the price. Givenchy balm: bright, dark colours. Moisturising and cute packaging but not your usual balm. Dior lip balm: very stiff and hard. Pigmented and not moisturising. YSL loveshine: love this, no complaints except

Battle of the high end lip products. Which one is better?
Dior hands down. The YSL burns and is irritating. The YSL candy glaze over Dior lip oil though. Also Chanel glosses over all of these lol

What’s the biggest “waste of money” makeup purchase you’ve ever made?
Me too - in my 20s. It’s just too sticky for me these days and I’m not obsessed with an ultra glassy lip the same way I once was. I also hate how sticky the tube gets. I’m a YSL candy glaze 02 girl now.
