Do not buy Epomaker. See this post about Epomaker: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/196hreg/mykeyboard_thickthock_other_vendor_issues/ Yunzii is on the QMK license violators list. Mchose is not officially on the list, but they have never tried to submit a pull request to QMK. QMK ha

This is a perfectly fine entry-level keyboard. You can get it on sale regularly and, when purchased for around $60, is a decent deal. Banana switches are great, and the sound is very nice, stock. Obviously it is mostly reliant on the switches for the core sound. At an MSRP of $85, it is a bad purcha

Given all the great QMK-based keyboards it's a shame to go for proprietary firmware with restrictive drivers. Monsgeek M1 v5 * ($80 barebones) Akko 5075B VIA * ($60 barebones) YMDK YMD75 * ($64-$110 diy) Womier RD75 ($95 w/ coupon) Womier WD75 * (wood! $90) Glencreag WK84 * (wood! $95 w/ coupon) Redrago

Yunzii doesn't release the software as far as I'm aware (so violate qmk license with that). Happy to be corrected though. So software based fix shouldn't be really feasible... I'd assume that you have to open the case and either desolder the led or just put some black tape over it that doesn't allow

i mean it depends on the specific price compared to the rest of the keyboards, its not qmk/via so you're just at the mercy of yunzii for the software and its full plastic which is okay if its priced correctly, it seems like a good keyboard for typing/gaming though any keyboard can be the best keyboa

The only driver Yunzii has is the JSON file for VIA, no actual firmware or driver to download. The LED is mounted on the PCB itself and without a switch installed the light is wrong. So I am thinking since I had it set to the rainbow setting before I just didn't notice the Blue LED was dying till no

For a magnetic board, only Keychron or Sunder because they're the only ones using QMK firmware in magnetic boards. For an electromechanical board, there are good QMK and ZMK options from Keychron, Womier, Weikav, XVX, Monsgeek/Akko, Skyloong, Redragon, Yunzii, SmackApe, Hator, Sharkoon, Dark Project

Well. I have two yunzii keyboard myself and they work great. One of them had some issue with the initial firmware but customer support helped me out within 48 hours. Build quality is pretty great for the price. Out of all keyboards I tried they sound the best. I am not getting paid unfortunately to

No man sorry, I couldn't find it anywhere, cause they use the web app to upgrade the firmware, but once you mod it, from the VGN web app the keyboard will not be recognized anymore, so you could only update with the yunzii package...
