Beware of chinese brands, Yunzii and all the related ones.

I have four Yunzii aluminum mechanical keyboards, AL65, AL68, AL80, and AL98. They are my favorite pre-made keyboards…over Keykron, Womier, Nuphy, Iqunix, Melgeek, Epomaker, etc…

Keychron V1 8K w/ Super Banana switches & M3 Mouse arrived today

This is a perfectly fine entry-level keyboard. You can get it on sale regularly and, when purchased for around $60, is a decent deal. Banana switches are great, and the sound is very nice, stock. Obviously it is mostly reliant on the switches for the core sound. At an MSRP of $85, it is a bad purcha

75% recommendation

Akko/Monsgeek doesn't have a new model for it yet. They seem to be pushing their proprietary boards instead. :( Right now the Redragon K739 is very close to the M1W v3 VIA and IMHO the v3 was a bit better than the v5. The wooden Womier WD75 and Glencreag WK84 are very nice. The plastic equivalent of

AULA keyboard differences?

Given all the great QMK-based keyboards it's a shame to go for proprietary firmware with restrictive drivers. Monsgeek M1 v5 * ($80 barebones) Akko 5075B VIA * ($60 barebones) YMDK YMD75 * ($64-$110 diy) Womier RD75 ($95 w/ coupon) Womier WD75 * (wood! $90) Glencreag WK84 * (wood! $95 w/ coupon) Redrago

First time using silent tactile switches

Just installed a set of Silent Lemon in a Yunzii AL80, loved the switches, hated the keyboard. They were whisper quiet and had a very satisfying bump which I found to be just about perfect for what I wanted. For the price you can't go wrong with them. I am installing Silent Peach in a new Q1 max tod

Rainy75 or Mchose G75?

the G75 uses a plastic case and doesn't have QMK/VIA, id honestly not recommend it for a cheaper keyboard who features both of those things id recommend the Yunzii AL80 (75% even though its called AL80 lol), although there are many alternatives and you should just look up keyboards with all those fu

Is there is a good 60% keyboard has this feature?

I think it’s YUNZII AL80, pretty good keyboard at that price.

Crazy how a$330 keyboard’s build quality is bad :(

Even now it’s hard to recommend people to build a custom Just get a crush80, Evo80, Yunzii AL80, RD75, or Rainy75 out of the box don’t have to mod anything, but yeah everyone is trolling getting anything gaming branded nowadays for keyboards
