New set up
I have an electric buzz tonal noise on my HS7 too. Yamaha DGX-520 electronic piano had quite a similar tonal noise on its built-in speakers, so there is probably an inherent engineering issue regarding speakers at Yamaha. I was able to minimize the noise on HS7 by decreasing amplification/volume wit

I'm done with Eve Audio
That's sad. I don't see how anyone could be happy with HS7's as actual listening speakers. They sound atrocious, imo. Weak bass tin cans basically. And I'm a huge Yamaha fan lol. I've read reviews of the TV7 tweeters being fatiguing but haven't heard them myself. Why not keep it all JBL? 👍

Sistema de som pro pc
Vai ficar mais ou menos, caixas boas custam caro por um motivo... Uma Yamaha hs7 é uma caixa mais de entrada, e já custa mais de 4 mil o par...

Bass Won't Stop Buzzing!
Bro - just saying. Bought a new active monitor speakers Yamaha HS7 - connected them to my PC via the soundcard - buzz was crazy . Checked ground to the PC , checked ground to the speakers (which they had) - even switched plugs (speakers to the living room plug , PC to the bedroom) and all kinds of c

Can this be recommended?
OP I would VERY highly recommend thinking about getting a pair of Adam T5V's. My buddy has them, and they sound great, another buddy has the monitors and sub in your post, and frankly, they always sounded really harsh to me. The yamaha's that you are looking at are a classic... but IMHO the design i

Current “battlestation”
Front ported monitors. I had a couple Yamaha HS7's and sure they were crisp and "flat", but honestly the most boring speakers imagineable and impossible to get low end with the rear firing bassport. Bought the cheaper Kali LP-6 and it's night and day, so much better.

Let down by the Adam Audio T7V monitors
Hey, I agree with many of the comments here and have mixed feelings about it, even though I’m an ADAM fan. I use the A7V myself, along with a studio subwoofer. I’ve also had plenty of experience with the A5V. As for the A5Vs, I can say that I’m a huge fan of these little speakers; especially when yo

Studio monitors for synths AND a stage piano
At that budget, you will get a better sound out of the headphones. There is no escaping that. In order to get a nice, balanced, full-range sound out of the speakers, you'd need room treatment. Yamaha HS7 goes down to 50 Hz, so ideally 6 acoustic panels, some 10 inches thick, would be nice. That woul
