How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026?

Ive never had good luck with the Series 2, I get bumper issues without fail. Ive had like 6-8 different elite series 2 at this point that ive either replaced or gotten a warranty on and every single one the RB or LB starts having issues within a few months. I have a stock xbox one controller that i'

Help with HE vs Kaleid vs Pro

Spot on. Kaleid is a looker if you Like RGB, especially for $40. I bought the SE first in white, then caved to the allure of a black version and clicky buttons so I bought the HE. Then the Pro was announced with trigger locks and TMR sticks so I preordered the black Pro. Wanting wireless on Xbox at

Controller, pro or after market controller or keyboard and mouse.

Ive tried highend KbM as well as the dual sense edge controller and the xbox elite series 2. I havent trued aftermarket but my suggestion is to go with the dualsense edge. I wouldnt recommend KbM on bo7 or bo6. The only recent cod that KbM was good on was mw3. Bo6 and 7 movement is just too much for

How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026?

The only issue that I’ve experienced with my Elite Series 2 controller is that the right bumper is fairly non-responsive unless I use a fair amount of pressure to press it. It can be rather irritating at times, especially considering the price and that this is marketed as XBOX’s “pro” controller.

How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026?

It's about to be hot so be prepared to see the rubber come loose. Bumpers are more prone to deteriorate than series 1. I got the ones I bought for less than the elite series 1 but I bought mine broken for about 30 dollars each. I typically stuck to issues like rubber coming loose and bumper issues a

How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026?

I think I bought 3. 1st one had an issue with bumpers. 2nd one had issues with the A button only working if you hit it dead-center. I tried to have Xbox fix it but they didn’t see any issues and warranty expired. 3rd one, it fell on the right analog stick (maybe 2-3 feet) and now needs to be replace

How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026?

Everything is great but stick drift and bumpers. If you get one, get the 3 year warranty with it when you register it. That’s what I did. Controller lasted a year and a half, then needed to get both bumpers and both sticks fixed. 2 weeks later it’s like brand new. That being said, elite series 3 and

How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026?

I’ve been playing on Xbox for over 20 years, and I’d never had problems with controller quality until the series x ones this gen. I’ve been through 3 series 2 elites, and just gave up entirely on them. Arriving with buttons not working, eventual stick drift, and buttons getting stuck, it’s a coin fl

How reliable is the Xbox Elite Series 2 in 2026?

I've own two Elite 2 controllers over the years so here's my thoughts on the points you wanted to know about: Stick drift - Both my current and the previous had stick drift issues. It's something that came about nearing the end of the warranty period. Buttons - No button issues specifically but my f

Controllers

I bought the elite 2 Xbox controller before gamesir G7 Pro. I love my G7 Pro. Those microswitches on short trigger mode, l4/r4, lockable rear buttons. It’s everything I want in a controller. I use it for my ally and my legion pro 7i. Fun fact, gamesir docks that come with controllers usually have a
