Privacy concerns with PrusaConnect - desperately need better offline/local tools.
I share your frustration that the incredible gap in feature parity between link and connect. The hardware on the printer can't possibly host the full-fat experience that their cloud UI offers but they could at least open up details on the API and allow us to roll our own. In any case, I use Thingino

Tips and best practices for recording video of yourself sleeping?
If you’re recording in the dark, that’s where things get tricky. Most phone cameras struggle in true darkness, so unless you sleep with a lamp on, you’ll barely see anything. If you want actual night vision, a cheap indoor security cam is the easiest fix. Something like a Wyze Cam v3, TP-Link Tapo,

Battery Ring Cameras in a Rental — Any Way to Reduce Wi-Fi Jamming Risk?
Honestly, for battery-powered Ring cams, if someone has a jammer, it's tough to completely mitigate without hardwired alternatives. I ended up getting a cheap Wyze Cam V3 for indoors with local storage as a backup. It won't stop them, but at least you might catch some footage if the Wi-Fi gets jamme

Outdoor Camera with Live Viewing
For your use case, you don't need anything fancy. Wyze Cam v3 is around $35-40 and does exactly what you want, works on WiFi, live view on phone, local storage option so no subscription needed. Totally fine for checking in on weather and cabin conditions.
