Wharfedale isn't playing around! I've not heard one yet that doesn't stun and please me. Tremendous value! Super Dentons are my end-game speaker for my den. Trying to buy less new records to save up. What’s your endgame? Have you gotten there yet? Did you tell yourself you were there and then immediately find something else to obsess over?
The wharfedale Lintons will be my endgame. Currently have the Denton 80th and love them to bits, but I finally have the space for the Lintons and I feel they would be a nice upgrade eventually.

Picks for best looking speakers

Bookshelf speakers my mother could tolerate? $1.5-3k budget
I just switched from KEF Q950s to Wharfedale Super Lintons and the sound improvement has been incredible. Look at the Dentons or some of their smaller bookshelf offerings.

I received my Wharfedale Super Denton today!
You know, I was worried as well about that "laid back" label that this speaker is described as. Admittedly, I can't stand sparkly treble but I also don't want something overly warm. To me, these speakers sound just about right. I also watch movies and shows on my computer from time to time so vocals

Thanks for the like and validation! Accuphase and Yamaha NS690/1000 do dance like a tango! The mids are holographic and musical at the same time, even better than some AlNiCo speakers in my memory.
