Picopresso

I got my picopresso used from Marketplace and that’s what exactly the first thing I did as the unit was leaking.

My Picopresso piston popped out after ~10 shots. I got a new unit as replacement, but still. My Robot will probably outlast me, so there’s that.

The Picopresso is harder to clean than the reservoir on my profitec go (which is non-porous plastic). Look at the ECM Puristika. It has a glass reservoir. The Picopresso is mostly plastic though. Exactly! I also have both and I agree witth everything. The picopresso always surprises me for it's size and capability to make great shots but the durability is no comparison to the robot. Its almost all plastic and after 1 year my pico started leaking from the piston and I had to do the o-ring mod

I had a wacaco picopresso a few years ago when it was launched. I had pulled great shots with IMS basket and all the shabang. However, the biggest issue is the plastic and the gasket. Even though it's BPA free, I won't recommend you using it guys. Overtime you would see plasticy smell, the gasket le
