Hardwired the tv today to spectrum 1GBps. Did a MBP speed test. No real difference hardwired vs wireless. ALL Speeds below 1MBps. I connect to VyprVPN which is very fast. Paid VPN necessary if you have already set up a WireGuard VPN connection to your router at home?

Not that this answers your question, but I have has no issues connecting and routing my traffic thru my home network via Tailscale on mobile and wifis. I could not get VyprVPN to connect a single time on WiFi with their WireGuard connection

VyprVPN doesn't work?

It's not like this even stops me from downloading... I just got a Tmobile Netgear hotspot w/ network port an plug it in where the AT@T modem was an different VPN provider an resumed the downloads an I was back up right away. I just know now that VyprVPN an AT@T is not a good mix...

Does anyone have current info on using a VPN or proxy to play FFXI in regions with restricted access?

NordVPN and VyprVPN were unable to connect, but Mullvad is working at the moment. So I can see posts on Reddit again.
