Pro: Keychron are the only ones with HE+QMK. Con: Keychron seem to be going through some kind of crisis. They have QA problems and people are reporting awful customer support.. OK, a straight 60% or TKL will also work. This collection of Pok3r components will let you assemble a lovely little 60% hotswap QMK board in a wooden or aluminum red or coffee case.

Some 60% standouts: CIDOO QK61 is a nice plastic gasket-mounted 60% board with QMK firmware. I programmed mine for mod-tap arrows which makes it doubly sweet. I would suggest going with a Pok3r/GH60 tray mount. There's more boards and other stuff available for it, and you don't have to be as precise in the dimensions of the case itself. You can use M2 standoffs or inserts. I haven't built a wood case but I've built a few keyboards into wooden cases and th
