I had my AI paper for six months and I never experienced a single crash. It was also the whitest screen I’ve ever experienced and it was flexible so there’s no risk of shattering. There may be some software bugs like any other device I would say the supernote is the most stable however, I find the V

We should appreciate the fact that they keep updating their software. It builds trust - unlike other companies ditching their products after a short time. But yes, I hope to see to the AiPaper with Frontlight soon! Maybe even a Viwoods monitor in the future. This Highly depends on the eink panel man

The problem is that it's very hard to tell from anecdotal evidence on reddit threads, as of course people who don't have these problems don't usually post about it. What does seem clear is that Boox are poor when it comes to returns policies, but whether the screens are more prone to break in the fi

Oooh. This looks exciting!! I’m not signed up for beta. I keep meaning to do so but forget. Can’t wait for this update. I wonder when they’ll bring in sync across devices. It’s kind of funny to see and use all of this tech. I was born back before computers, mobiles and when tv was black and white (i

In my opinion, the product that best fits this description is the AiPaper mini by Viwoods. It's beautifully built (I have the large model, but the small one is coming soon), and it has a customizable interface where you can set up your library, notebooks, and memos. Otherwise, just pretend the Andro

I am an iPad Pro user and I have the Viwoods AiPaper and had the Supernote Manta. No, you do not need to switch considering your post. I think you will be seriously underwhelmed. I love the hardware and appreciate the technology for what it was meant for… But yeah… There’s no need to get an eInk dev

I presently own a reMarkable 2, Boox Note2, & an AiPaper. The reMarkable 2 has long been a staple in the E-Ink market, but it is currently hampered by aging hardware and a restrictive subscription model that gates basic cloud syncing features. With only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, it str

ViWoods AI Paper Reader is stupidly thin and light. I’m not sure I’d want to use any eink device without a case, though. Especially backpacking. But I only have the little plastic case that comes with it on mine and it’s been fine. Even after being dropped a couple times.

I was skeptical such as yourself - very. But there were a couple or reasons I purchased. No (low) risk long return guarantee. (100 days) Best screen on the market (Carta 1300) and one of the very few at the 10" size (I don't believe Onyx currently makes one although it might soon.) Use of Android OS

Thanks for sharing this. I think many of us here can relate to that "figuring it out" phase. In fact, I now own all three Viwoods devices – the AiPaper, the Mini, and the Reader – but my path here was anything but linear. I have gone back and forth between different systems more times than I would l
