Who uses the AI integration and for what purpose?
It is one of the best features of Viwoods. I use it for: First and foremost, as a superdictionary, to give me the etymology, history, idioms, grammar, syntax, and mnemonic tips for learning new words, especially in foreign languages. I have a prompt customized for this (actually, a couple of variati

New viwoods device in 2026?
We should appreciate the fact that they keep updating their software. It builds trust - unlike other companies ditching their products after a short time. But yes, I hope to see to the AiPaper with Frontlight soon! Maybe even a Viwoods monitor in the future. This Highly depends on the eink panel man

my one page review of writing on the Go 10.3 Gen II
This agrees with what other reviewers are saying. I am quite surprised they managed to do such a good job. Is this a case of necessity being the mother of invention? At least it seems like Boox is responding in a conscientious manner to a situation forced on them from the outside, and not taking the

AI Paper vs Boox 10.3 Lumi
I have the Aipaper and the Go 10.3 gen 1. I much prefer the Viwoods, for the following reasons: The screen is noticeably whiter. This is a bigger deal for gen 1, which does not have a front light. The Go 10.3 screen is just dark enough to be a bother, and the Viwoods is just light enough for me to b

This Or Manta?
Viwoods is definitely better for apps. Even though you can sideload apps on Supernote, switching between apps is a total pain on that device. Viwoods has an “app drawer”. File management is probably better on the Manta if that is important to you? Honestly I don’t even have time to get into that. Bu

Is there a reason outside of being Amazon that Kindles are disliked in this sub (US specific)?
I just sold my Scribe - which is a nice piece of hardware - and I'm totally thrilled about it and will explain why. I have a Viwoods and Boox reader, and had a Meebook 7" that was priced below the Kindle Paperwhite and was so much more useful, especially the buttons. Kindles are not e-book readers.

Airpaper vs AINOTE 2, which one?
After using both, I feel like they are not really meant to be directly compared. They go in quite different directions. If you are more into slowly organizing your reading and notes, I would personally lean toward the Viwoods AiPaper. It feels more like organizing your life. But if you are more focu

Why there are no 8 inch erearers?
I was going to recommend this. I have the Viwoods AiPaper Mini and I love it! It has a really bright screen with front light. It runs Android so you can put whatever reading app you prefer.

The Boox Palma 2 might have changed my relationship with ereaders
I also tried both the Palma 2 and the Viwoods Reader. I ended up returning the Palma 2 and sticking with the Viwoods. I liked the screen better and the overall thinness/size of the device better than the Palma. Biggest downside is no warm light, but I have other ereaders so it wasn’t a dealbreaker f
