The problem is that it's very hard to tell from anecdotal evidence on reddit threads, as of course people who don't have these problems don't usually post about it. What does seem clear is that Boox are poor when it comes to returns policies, but whether the screens are more prone to break in the fi

They all suck in different ways but if I had to pick up one I would go for the Supernote Manta or for the Viwoods Ai Paper because of their flexible screen.

I am an iPad Pro user and I have the Viwoods AiPaper and had the Supernote Manta. No, you do not need to switch considering your post. I think you will be seriously underwhelmed. I love the hardware and appreciate the technology for what it was meant for… But yeah… There’s no need to get an eInk dev

I presently own a reMarkable 2, Boox Note2, & an AiPaper. The reMarkable 2 has long been a staple in the E-Ink market, but it is currently hampered by aging hardware and a restrictive subscription model that gates basic cloud syncing features. With only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, it str

ViWoods AI Paper Reader is stupidly thin and light. I’m not sure I’d want to use any eink device without a case, though. Especially backpacking. But I only have the little plastic case that comes with it on mine and it’s been fine. Even after being dropped a couple times.

no Kindle. Waste of money. Kobo is fine, I prefer Android based such as Boox 7" and viwoods AI paper (10" tablet) and I have both. use the latter more often. both are superb.

if you want colour, the note air 5c is pretty nice. Be aware though, the colours are very rudimentry and it looks more like old grey recycled paper than white paper. A lot of people say you need the front light on all the time, I actually use it without all the time in my (home) office environment.

I’ve used both and decided to keep the Viwoods AiPaper. To me, the Boox Go 10.3’s screen is noticeably darker. I also found that the Boox’s magnetic cover interfered with the pen while handwriting with it folded back. The final difference was that, although conversion of handwriting to text was equa
