I would not use a hardwire kit that doesn’t have a voltage cutoff. It risks draining the battery too much and being unable to start the car. I suppose it’s also possible a cheap, poorly-designed hardwire kit could draw more current than the Viofo kit even while the dash cam is switched off. I’m not

I have VIOFO A229 Plus and they sell an anti glare filter you put on the front camera (B09MY9YHNV). I don't have any before and after pictures but here's how mine looks - - You can barely see the center speaker. Rear camera is really bad with reflections though and they don't sell one for that - -

This dash cam is 6 years old and the tech is very dated now. There are better dash cams from Viofo at a similar price range (A229 PLUS 2CH, for example). You can also find similar specs from other brands at a lower price now.
