Viofo A129 Pro Duo. I'm a dashcam nerd and have tested quite a few, so yes I would recommend this one highly. Relatively cheap for front and back cameras (around $180) and HD recording.

Potholes and TDOT
I have Viofo A129 pro duos in both my cars and think they're great. There's newer ones for more money, A229 and A329, probably worth it. I can generally read license plates ok, but sometimes the video isn't quite good enough. Here's a good comparison review of many if you want something cheaper.

best dashcam 2026 (what I think really matters, my reccs AND mistakes to avoid)
it's the viofo a129 pro duo, both cams are starvis2 with proper hdr, footage at night is night and day compared to my old 4k unit. wish it did h265 though, files are chonky
