A129 Pro Duo

Viofo A129 Pro Duo. I'm a dashcam nerd and have tested quite a few, so yes I would recommend this one highly. Relatively cheap for front and back cameras (around $180) and HD recording.

I have Viofo A129 pro duos in both my cars and think they're great. There's newer ones for more money, A229 and A329, probably worth it. I can generally read license plates ok, but sometimes the video isn't quite good enough. Here's a good comparison review of many if you want something cheaper.

Don't know what they use, but I use a VIOFO A129 Pro Duo and it always comes out looking great.

I love my viofo a129 pro duo which has 4k front and 1080p rear so I would recommend that as even the 1080p camera is fairly clear (although still somewhat limited) but I don't have experience with any other system
