I have been waiting to post this footage for a long time! Appreciate the camera should have been angled up a bit. However, it was thankfully still clear enough in this case. Also the audio at the start is a bit weird - this is just from me awkwardly editing out most of our mindless conversation in t

It's a Viofo A129 Plus. I really like it, you can blame my export settings and reddit compression for the blurriness. The raw recording is much sharper.

VIOFO A229 It has sales, the imaging is good, and the wifi download to the phone is quick. VIOFO A129 Plus Duo also works for a lower cost.

As u/2267746582 wrote, the Vortex Radar YouTube channel is a great resource where it comes to the techy stuff, and his recent "crash testing" brings up some very interesting observations. I highly recommend his reviews ( https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=vortex+radar+dashcam ), but they m

Its a Viofo A129 Plus Duo (front and rear) with a polarization filter. One of their lower end models, 1440p front / 1080 rear. Had it for 3 years or so, been great so far

I’m an engineer so I have to research everything. I purchased a VIOFO a129. It’s a 4K camera in the front and 1080 in the rear, and you can hotspot your phone to it for downloading video or watching the video live. It’s a truly wonderful product and I’m very pleased with my purchase. This specific m

I went with a Viofo a129, Reddit suggested it to me when I asked a few years ago. The video quality is pretty great and it handles the southern summer heat and the winter chills pretty well.

Definitely recommend a camera that has front, rear, and 2 "inside" cameras (since those can easily be angled to point out the driver and passenger windows). Only 'tricky' part is if you want to hardwire it using an 'add a fuse' to your panel so it doesn't take up the 12V socket. This is because the

I've had a Viofo A129 Plus Duo in my WJ for a few years now. Easy install and I'd recommend getting their hardwire kit for installation. It has come in handy a few times, especially when some psycho dipshit backed into my Jeep in a parking lot & tried to blame me.

I personally use the viofo A129 plus with front and rear camera. Mine is an old model I've had several years now and it still does the business. They get strong reviews, decent camera quality and capacitor rather than battery which is far more robust.
