Camera/Dashcam system?

As u/2267746582 wrote, the Vortex Radar YouTube channel is a great resource where it comes to the techy stuff, and his recent "crash testing" brings up some very interesting observations. I highly recommend his reviews ( https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=vortex+radar+dashcam ), but they m

Traffic ticket

I’m an engineer so I have to research everything. I purchased a VIOFO a129. It’s a 4K camera in the front and 1080 in the rear, and you can hotspot your phone to it for downloading video or watching the video live. It’s a truly wonderful product and I’m very pleased with my purchase. This specific m

What kind of cameras are people using?

I just got the VIOFO A129 plus duo. It’s been about a week and I really like it a lot. It’s front and back, easy to install, and simple set up once it’s on

what dashcams would you recommend ?

I've had a Viofo A129 Plus Duo in my WJ for a few years now. Easy install and I'd recommend getting their hardwire kit for installation. It has come in handy a few times, especially when some psycho dipshit backed into my Jeep in a parking lot & tried to blame me.

Best OEM fitting dashcam for 2015 Sienna?

Any Viofo camera that is wedged shaped can be hidden behind the mirror. Buy a power supply that plugs inline with the harness going to the mirror. No wires to run that way. I think the Amazon brand for those power supplies is Called Dongar or something like that. I used a Viofo A129 plus and a Donga

Looking to Buy

I got myself a VIOFO A129 Plus Duo, and so far, I love it. Bought it back in November, and its held up well. Has good quality and having a front and back camera has been a relief because in Florida you never know what people are gonna do and overall easy to set up

Parking dash cam recommendations

I’m based in the UK if that makes a difference to your products - I had a Viofo A129 Duo plus which was quite good, the parking mode would do a time lapse but can do continuous recording at low frames, only down side is, if someone approaches your car from the side it won’t see a thing. Failing that

Dash cam options?

I wanted a dash cam with front and rear cameras and after some research decided the VIOFO A129 Plus Duo was the best affordable dash cam. Also this. I decided to mount it on the passengers side so I could mount it higher on the windshield and it wouldn't interfere with the rearview. Photo.

Dash cam suggestions

VIOFO makes solid dash cams with quality image sensors. My older A129 plus duo is still working great. Doesn’t take up too much room, I installed it to the right of the rear view mirror/sensors.

Easy install dashcam recommendations?

You can try r/dashcam I went with a Viofo A129 Plus Duo, and be sure to get a good SD card. I went with Samsung Pro Endurance 128GB This was considered a budget option imo, any cheaper and you risk dodgy quality. Was easy to install, plugs into the 12V outlet, just gotta route the wires in your car
