Would you purchase this Verizon extender outright?
The e3200 extenders hardly ever go bad. It should last over a decade as long as there's no crazy power surges that might fry it like any other electronic. Any e3200 that you buy will just be plug and play, and mailing back your current one to Verizon should be relatively easy. One thing to consider

New fios router?
It's not SON, it's my own router with son off, and I would never use son on a Verizon router. It's on WiFi but it's a widespread issue. The cr1000a will cap out at 100 upload for me, even on gig, no matter the settings, while my own router does 200 something upload which is better, but still not cor

Fios+ TV or whatever they call it is a big dud.
Welp, as a long-time Tivo STB via Verizon Fios user, I recently got the cable card EOL E-mail. Rather than wait until the bitter end when the CC support is actually withdrawn, as many other users have vowed to do, I took a different tack and decided to employ the new Verizon boxes in parallel with t

E3200 Replacements
The e3200 is the only plug and play option for the g3100, since they are designed to work together. Verizon is the only router "manufacturer" I know of that integrates moca into their routers and extenders. If you do anything "piecemeal" to use with the g3100, you may have issues with roaming betwee

Too many Confusing Nuvio setups.
As for the Ethernet, I have tried that, and you are right, it is capped at 100 Mbps. As for the Wi-Fi, our router (a basic Verizon G3100) sits in the same room as the Android TV. But, I have noticed that as our neighbors have upgraded their Wi-Fi, there has been more channel overlap and general inte

Wifi not reaching upstairs far room
you have a few options -Call and make sure to talk to verizon fios tech support to have a tech come out and MOVE the router to a central area for better wifi signal (as long as you call within the first 7 days of install the order to move ONT, router, or run a new ethernet cable is free) after the 7

Anyone else?
I have a Flint 2 and want it to be my primary router but I have Fios+ tv service. Has there been any workarounds yet to using the verizon supplied G3100? That thing sucks. My 5 ghz wifi constantly drops requiring reboots to get it back.

New Equipment / Wi-Fi / Own Router Question
Yes, that's exactly what I do. Make sure you use the 192.168.1.xxx VLAN for the VZ devices and the MOCA bridge. The only thing I use the G3100 for is to retrieve the IP addresses and port forwarding information when initially setting up the DVR, STBs and MOCA adapters. The coax which will normally b

Just got Fios and have a question. (Cust service is HORRIBLE)
I've used the Verizon router for almost 3 years (g3100) with a e3200 extender upstairs. I just upgraded the whole house to a ASUS AXE16000 with two ET9s on a 2.5gb Ethernet back haul. I didn't realize how shit that Verizon router was until I upgraded. Google Assistant commands are near instant. My w

Equipment hookup. What am I doing wrong?
They rent you the router. They sent me the CR1000A recently and are renting it to me for free, even though I have my own. I only wanted them to send it to me to see how it works and performs compared to mine. I much prefer to use my router. Since I don’t have Fios TV, I don’t need to use theirs. I w
