My Pyramid of Audiophile Snake Oil

How do you like the Kantas? I almost went with those but decided on the Vanatoo T0+. Absolutely love them.

Where do I begin as a beginner?

Your budget is very tight and that imposes major constraints. I would forget about upgrading the turntable, as vinyl itself is expensive and you’d have no money left over to buy anything else. I do have a suggestion based on personal experience. When my daughter graduated from high school, I bought

How do you listen to kpop and do guys rip your cds?

For a time I used to buy CDs of groups that I liked, then rip the CD tracks to FLAC files. The sound quality is very different and much superior compared to mp3 or Apple iTunes file formats. These days I listen to Youtube music playlists that I put together for artists that I like on my desktop comp

r/battlestations & LG OLED Grab your Black Friday chance to upgrade your setup! [GIVEAWAY] [US]

It took me 8 years of researching, saving and sacrificing to get my setup where it is today. I love everything about it because of how hard I’ve had to work to build it. My favorite things about it is my 32” LG OLED monitor, 5080FE, and Vanatoo Transparent Zero+ Speakers. I’d pick the GX9 to take my

Hey there. I would start here, though this might not be optimal if you're trying to set up a strictly desktop system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6hfVbkBW-k If you're in the US, this is a good option: https://vanatoo.com/shop/speakers/transparent-zero-plus/ You can add a subwoofer later when yo

Audio monitors vs good headphones?

I use and really like the Vanatoo T0+ speakers, which I have connected via USB, along with Sony MDR-7506 headphones. There are plenty of other great options too, like the iLoud Micro Monitor.
