At what price would you NOTbuy the Steam Machine?

I don't get the target audience, I can justify a steam deck because it's portable but unless it's cheaper than just buying a PC, why wouldn't I get a normal PC build for everything not just taylored for gaming

Steam Deck is still worth it four years later, says poll, but people are starting to think "it's about time" for a sequel

Worst time to be thinking that given the current state of the market I don't know why people are wanting this new hardware released NOW of all times, shortages would make prices ridiculous. Keep the Steam Deck 2 away until prices go back to normal (whenever that is), same for the Steam Machine and F

Picked up this open box legion go S Best Buy messed up

You got a more powerful device for cheaper than the highest storage Steam deck. Some one is definitely blessed.

Rumor has it, Switch 2 is getting a price hike this year, despite Nintendo recently dismissing the idea

I can guarantee Nintendo has got multiple manufacturing and supply contracts in place to secure parts. It's not like they haven't seen this coming. Valve discontinuing one model of Steam Deck is to be expected. It's not a huge seller (SD has always been a fairly niche piece of kit), and unlike Ninte

Convince me not to buy Steam Deck Oled

As newer and more demanding games come out, the Deck will feel left behind. It's already weak to begin with anyway. New options like the Xbox Ally X and Legion Go 2 do better in performance. SteamOS support for other devices is also becoming better as Valve continues to update it, as with other Linu

DIM: Steam Deck OLED

Unfortunately, a few months too late na discernment mo whether or not to buy since RAM prices have skyrocketed bc of AI data centers (SSDs as well, both of which the SD use). Pangarap ko rin yan since the OLED version released bc of how much games I have in my steam library which would definitely ru

Out Of Stock Steam Deck(s) Megathread

I hate to say friends, it’s very low probability any NEW stock will happen again for a quite some time (from the last shipment they had in February)… Based on the current cilmate, they’re focusing with all of their resources on the eventual Steam Machine release. SteamDeck is maybe ~3rd - 5th in lin

Scalpers are one of the reasons Valve don't have stock

The problem IMO is when the middleman actively creates the problem they charge you to solve. For a lot of ppl, steam deck isnt sold in their region, some people make a business of making it available in those regions. I think that’s fine. But if you’re actively contributing to making a shortage wors

Console recommendation

I see a lot of steam deck, Asus rog recommendations, unless you absolutely have to play on the plane or something like that just get a ps5. Same price, and the experience is not even comparable. If you have access to a tv everywhere you're staying I don't see any reason not to.
