I don't get the target audience, I can justify a steam deck because it's portable but unless it's cheaper than just buying a PC, why wouldn't I get a normal PC build for everything not just taylored for gaming

Yeah but it's not going to pocketable like the psp was. It's going to be massive like the Portal, steam deck, rog ally etc. The psp was amazing because you could truly just have it in your pocket all day every day and whip it out anytime you had the chance. I'd rather throw it in a bag. Once you add a grip, it's really a bit much for a pocket. It's so much better in a bag as a clamshell though compared to a steam deck or other normal handhelds.

I ended up selling my steam deck, it was a bit too heavy to be a long handheld system. Got the konkr and the odin 3 instead.

I see a lot of steam deck, Asus rog recommendations, unless you absolutely have to play on the plane or something like that just get a ps5. Same price, and the experience is not even comparable. If you have access to a tv everywhere you're staying I don't see any reason not to.

Steam deck is a paper weight for me sadly. Its to big to fit in my pocket. At home I have a gaming pc that makes it irrelevant.
