NotebookCheck: "iPhone 17 Air OLED supplier [BOE] to be banned in the US for over 14 years for stealing Samsung trade secrets"
Some of Valve's Steam Deck OLED displays are BOE, so that's unfortunate for them.

I installed the new update to my steam Deck, now it’s been stuck like this for two days. I need help.
Like the other person said OLEDs burn in a lot easier than an LCD, you gotta be careful. They could end up with the steam logo permanently there while they're trying to use the deck, would really suck.

ASUS ROG Xbox Ally with Ryzen Z2A drops to $499
This is such a weird device because it’s basically steam deck price for steam deck performance with a higher resolution screen but that’s not really an advantage because then you just don’t run games at native resolution because that chip is more going to like 720 than 1080. You get VRR but you lose

FOMO with Oled
I have had an OLED Steam Deck, Xbox Ally X and currently an OXP Apex. The OLED was gorgeous but nothing beats performance ESPECIALLY when these IPS displays are pretty damn good. After a while you forget about the display you're using and are just thankful to be running at good settings with good fr

Is Z2 Go really bad?
Everything is really about the price imo. If the price is close to $499, I would say it's a decent option imo. It's slightly more powerful than Steam deck oled, it has a bigger battery and screen. So for the same price, I would buy Legion go S Z2go

If an OLED panel is left on one static screen for an extended period of time the image will burn in In my experience from burn in testing the smaller the screen the longer burn in will take which i find kinda neat Edit: Brightness also effects the time it takes, the brighter the image the less time

Upgraded! Steam Deck LCD to Claw A8
I hate Steam Dreck, and i dont understand people that enjoy it, imho weirdos, i build myself a Steam Deck Pro, for HALF the price of what Steam Deck oled costs, and its up to x3 times faster in most games. I got Zotac Zone on steam sale, [it goes on sale 2-3 times every month across European Amazons

Would the Steam Deck or Switch OLED be trouble for my eyes?
Steam Deck OLED is notoriously bad.(unless you manage to find the most expensive * "Limited Edition" Steam Deck OLED, they supposedly have a better performing BOE OLED panel) Switch OLED is better and may work for you. Most "eye-safe" are the handhelds with high-end IPS displays, like the various Xb
