What are the best standing desk in 2025/2026? Is Wirecutter right?

imo the uplift v2 is still the best all around. I like the stability, quick smooth height adjust, and customization options with the memory presets and different top finishes

What’s the best standing desk with real cable management (not just a hole in the corner)?

Secretlab Magnus Pro is hands-down the best if you want real cable management.. built-in routing, hidden power bay, super clean look. Uplift V2 with the full wire kit is a solid modular alternative. Both keep things tidy without endless zip ties.

Ergonomic office chair worth the money?

I have an Aeron knock off that I got a few years back, plus a custom uplift desk. It helps, but you still need to move around if you can.

Non-standing desk -- extra wide

Uplift V2 with a solid wood top is a great choice, they sell desk frames without the standing feature. Get a thick butcher block (2"+) and it won't flex at all.

Wanting to build adjustable height workbench for mainly electronics work, any suggestions?

I've spent what feels like years of my life at this point searching for the perfect adjustable-height workbench. My initial plan was to make one out of 8020 but the raising/lowering mechanics were too complicated and expensive. My recommendation is to get the V2 Commercial base by Uplift and put wha

Ark 2 monitor weight on desk

I have an uplift L shaped desk with the commercial v2 legs. I ended up creating a frame attached to the underside of the desk to sit the monitor base on. It cost me like 40 bucks in materials. If you have the DIY experience, I think it's the most secure option. Ill try to post some pics in a second

What are the best standing desk in 2025/2026? Is Wirecutter right?

Honestly, Wirecutter’s picks are solid and the Uplift V2 is super sturdy and customizable, and the Branch Duo looks great for the price. But if you want something quieter and smoother, I’d check out the Fully Jarvis or the FlexiSpot E7 Pro. Depends on your budget and how much you care about cable ma

Triple Monitor Stand for Heavy Ultrawide Monitors

I have an Uplift Commercial V2 standing desk, and bought a large butcherblock counter top (1" thick) to use as a desktop to replace my aging dining room table top I've been using for years. I'm looking to replace my 3x clamp-on style monitor stands for a single stand to support all three of my 34" D

I want to order the Flexispot E7 Pro, but which color?

Tough question. Now that I own both the Flexispot E8 and Uplift V2, I have to say that I like different things about each. Flexi E8 - there's a metal panel that covers the rails, hiding the cabling from the controller to the motors and keypad. This makes for a clean underdesk appearance. I also like

Best smaller surface standing desks?

How small are you looking to go? Uplift V2 has a 42x30" option. Flexispot E7 & E7 Pro offer 48x30" and 55x28" options. Personally I wouldn't go with a 24" deep desk - especially with a 27" monitor. IMHO buy a good frame since you can change the desktop later if you need a wider one. Benefit of the a
