Impressive, especially in this current hardware climate. I’ve got the UGreen DXP8800 Plus with six 16TB WD Red drives and two 20TB WD Red drives but it’s an early model sourced from the original KickStarted. So I’ve had it for about two years, running UGreen UGOS Pro.

I have little experience with QNAP NAS solutions—I have one of their switches and it's great—but I do have a DXP8800 Plus and for your needs, UGOS should be fine. UGREEN also will continue to support the hardware if you install a different OS on it (e.g., TrueNAS, Unraid, Ubuntu Server, etc.).

I bought an UGreen DXP8800 Plus, I figured I couldn't build an 8 bay pc with that kind of spec and use as little power in a compact form. Yet I can still install any OS I want on it as it's just an x86-64 pc at the end of the day. So it's happily running Proxmox now
