What's the point of the AI Pro now?

Lol, everyone in this thread is getting confused by the naming scheme (good job Ubiquiti). There is the G6 Pro Bullet, the AI Pro, and the G6 Bullet (There's also a G6 turret). The AI Pro does not have a bigger sensor than the G6 bullet. They both have a 1/1.8" sensor. The recently released G6 Pro h

Still waiting for someone to explain why Riverside, Avondale,St Johns Ave or Riverside Ave and Ortega Blvd have no Flock LPRs at all. This also goes for San Marco on San Jose 13 in its core of wealthy homes and the so called VIP.

Ubiquiti is definitely on the low-moderate end for what it actually provides. If you do most of the install yourself (most will still want to find a low voltage electrician installer for cat6 poe cables + front doorbell if no existing powered doorbell), it's the gateway/firewall/vpn/nvr device w/man

Another huge price hike on Nest Aware next month. From $150/yr to $200/yr

Unifi G6 Instant if you want to stay wireless, Unifi G6 Bullet or Turret if going wired. They all have the same 4K sensor and your footage is stored locally and not on anyone's servers. Miles ahead in smart detections using on-device AI. Short video from Ubiquiti for these cameras:https://www.youtub

Why does Lorex have 3 different Apps?

Came to say the same. Ive had my setup less than 2 years and have been migrating away from it as I can get new devices. I have the N910A6 nvr, 4-e871ab (180° dual lens), 4-w461asc (2k wireless indoor) and 1-e910ab (4k+ 12mp ultra he bullet). The cameras were good their software is garbage! Trying to

Reolink or Ubiquiti unifi Cameras?

Reolink are meant more to be used in urban areas with tons of lighting at night. This is because Reolink IR night vision models do not have very good performance at night (this might change eventually with a new professional models they might release this year, also Elite xPro beats the G6 180° IMO)

Best Security Cameras, Doorbell & Doorlock For Apple HomeKit

Yeah Ubiquiti to me is a no brainer if you already use them for your network. Even if you don’t, their new UNVR Instant is perfect for home use. Personally I recommend the G6 Turrets in places you don’t need zoom, and the G6 PTZ for places you do. The PTZs give you the flexibility to track people an

Is the G6 Pro Turret worth getting over the G6 Turret?

I think any camera’s main defining quality feature is the size of its sensor, along with its low light performance. G6 Pro Turret and G6 Pro Bullet are the only two cameras in the Ubiquiti lineup that have their most sophisticated and largest sensor at 1/1.2. Outstanding performance.

Upgrade from Lorex system

I ran a Lorex system for about 8 years and decided to upgrade last March to their newer NVR and cameras for the better picture and ai detections. Since I was already in the Ubiquiti ecosystem by running their Access Points and UNAS, I decided to buy just two UI cameras just to experiment with since

If you liked that, check out this -- G6 Entry on the left, G6 Pro Entry on the right. Look at the detail in the trees in the center. EDIT: also you may be interested in this post.

Unifi setup

G6 are the best cameras from Unifi lineup. IMO they are very good cameras for the price. Are there better cameras? It is way too complicated and long to explain, but yes from other brands. But IMO there isn't a better doorbell than the G6 entry or G6 pro entry. With Ubiquiti/Unifi you need to buy th
