Face ID question: Is Protect ID recognition via alarm manager as secure as Face ID in Access products?

The G6 180* is...
It's not as bad as I had feared, but it is less than the Amcrest cam it replaced. If I include the street out front so it sees my mailbox, I lose 4 or 5ft right in front of the garage door. For reference, I have a driveway that will fit 6 cars. I've added a G4 Instant on the side of the garage near
