Shots fired (back) feat. UTR
Sure it has better specs, but they cannot come close to Ubiquiti's ecosystem. Most people that will get the UTR are because they are already in the Unifi ecosystem and don't care about Wi-Fi 7 when traveling. Supporting cellular would be great, though!

TIL you can use tether usb port on UTR to power instant camera's
In the early pre-release reviews from influencers, several mentioned Ubiquiti will support Ethernet over USB on the UTR for the Instant cameras. I hope this becomes a thing in a future update and wasn’t reviewers misunderstanding Ubiquiti.

Question about the Travel Router and streaming
Could it work, yes. I have been using the UTR a lot while my wife has been hospitalized / undergoing outpatient treatment over the past couple months, including the last 31 days straight and a 3-night inpatient stay this week. It is good, but I would give you this summary of my experience: - The UTR

Introducing: Dream Machine Beast. (Works with your UTR)
Last vacation we took was a VRBO with a T-Mobile 5G connection. Speed tests and continuous ping tests showed it as being pretty stable but it would not connect to teleport at all. I went as far as getting custom firmware through Ubiquity and all the firmware updates I could imagine. I tried to defau

What’s the hype on UTR
I have the Glinet Beryl. It is a fantastic device, but it is a bulky device and the interface is somewhat more difficult to deal with in terms of connecting to it. You have to use a browser and type in the admin IP address. The thing that’s great about the UTR is that it’s almost the size of a few c

Good lawd
I ordered one on the second restock (thanks Reddit, for informing me when Ubiquiti's stock notification didn't). Here's a brief explainer of the demand: It's a travel router. For those of us who travel, a travel router allows us to easily get multiple devices connected to a secure network (you get t

UTR at airport
Yeah. It makes the management of hotel tokens easier and if you travel with any kind of media player (AppleTV, Chromecast, Roku, etc) it makes authentication a non-issue. It can also tether from your iOS/android usb data connection. The UTR works best if you have a Ubiquiti setup at home where you c

Total Armature trying to choose a mesh network
Mesh is all wireless access points. You don't have to buy a "mesh system" in the way you are thinking. Ubiquiti and UniFi are mentioned. I will throw GLinet into the mix. The interface is easier. Cheaper price points. When you travel take one of the GLinet routers. Throw it in your bag. Connect it t
