OLED users with 0 WiFi or game streaming issues, what router are you using?
Ubiquiti / UniFi A UniFi Dream Machine Pro with a U6-IW (WiFi 6 in-wall) and U6-Pro (WiFi 6 standard access point). Had the system for about 4 years and it just keeps getting better.

I've been running the UDM Beasts at DPC technology. Here's my review...
Clay... thanks for the reply and sorry if I get caught up in my little bubble of Ubiquiti gear/fanaticism/obsession. I'd say that testing of items such IDS and IPS throughput across devices would be helpful. For example, the UCG-Fiber is supposed to smoke the UDM Pro lineup (until the beautiful Beas

Thoughts on The Beast
The main thing I can see is this has two 25gig ports for you core switch connections. A LOT of places still do a route-on-a-stick setup (for simplicity or lack of knowledge) where all inter vlan traffic needs to go back to your firewall/router. On other UDM's this was a huge bottle neck especially i

Can UniFi EFG make sense at this price point?
UDM Beast is interesting, but at that price I would have expected some next-generation firewall functionality. I understand that it's a wonderful world without any licensing, but there are other vendors. They offer this functionality even though they're much less powerful. It's clear that Ubiquiti de

Which router should I buy? Or any better suggestions
Oh got it. Yes UniFi’s network application has all of those types of features. I started with a UniFi Dream Machine and about a year ago upgraded to the UniFi cloud Gateway Fiber which I absolutely love. If you want a device with a gateway and AP all in one, Dream Router 7 is a good option. If you d

New Construction and new user looking for some thoughts...
The RPS is pretty close to worthless. It is neither a UPS nor power conditioner. Even with a whole home backup generator you still need a UPS to bridge the gap on the transfer time, and it’s best if the UPS is a pure sine wave output to condition the output from the generator (so the Unifi actual UP

Meraki Firewall Alternatives for Small Locations?
+1 for Ubiquiti. There is plenty there gear can't do, but 99% of it is plug-and-play, performant, and reliable. The orgs I work for have plenty of cash to throw around, and we're still opting to roll Unifi gear where we were previously deploying Meraki.I have Ubiquiti (UDM Pro) at home and colo, and

unifi or not to unifi
ngl for 6700sqft retail you're on the right track. i'd swap the G6 APs for U6 Pros or U7 Pros - better value and plenty for retail traffic. the Dream Machine + separate NVR adds cost; you could start with a UDM Pro or SE which has built-in NVR for up to 12 cameras. 29 cameras total is a lot for a re

Gateway suggestions?
You believe the UDM SE is overkill but the UCG Fiber is not? If you are simply looking for new hardware I would say get the UCG Fiber. It’s a very capable device that may be on par with the UDM devices. Maybe better because of the updated internals.. Don’t let the small footprint fool you. As far as

UDM-Max vs UCG-Fiber + UNVR? Thoughts?
If you are talking about the dream machine pro max IPS on it is 5gbps just the same and the UCG-Fiber so in that aspect it is identical. The pro max would be for a larger deployment where you have more UniFi devices and end users. Also with the pro max you can run from protect directly out of it so
