Yeah, just submitted. It's been a frustrating experience with the UNAS line. Starting with this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubiquiti/comments/1rvioew/unas_4_has_drive_failed_all_four_ssds/ Which I returned both UNAS 4 for the UNAS Pro 8, thinking it would do a better job handling my specific model of SSD (s

Oh come on are they really?? I get it on the UCG-Fiber cuz it's totally optional and kind of a niche thing to run Protect on your gateway, but on the UNAS Pro 8? Come on Ubiquiti that's just distasteful. One of the reasons people buy the Pro 8 is for the SSD support.

Had that happen with the UNAS Pro…. Needed a NAS solution that ideally was plug and play with the Ubiquiti system. Thought about the UNAS pro for a long time but really wanted something with redundant power supplies and a little more storage. Beat myself up over it for a few weeks before finally pul

I know they say never buy into something based off of promises, but Ubiquiti keeps delivering. My UDM SE is a totally different animal compared to when I bought it a couple of years, ago, looks like the same might happen for my UNAS Pro :D

My opinion may be an unpopular one, but this is not for me. I'm sure there are others out there who will spring for it, but not me. I want my NAS to be a NAS and nothing more. AI has permeated every aspect of our lives, and I have AI fatigue. Before you know it, they're going to tell us we need AI t

A couple of things to note about the Ubiquiti ecosystem: There is NO documentation. You are required to figure out things on your own, ask reddit, ask Ubiquiti community forums, watch influencer dudes on youtube. You are also the official beta tester, because Ubiquiti releases new products fast and

global video editing agency ? Future proofing ? And you are in charge of this ? Oh boy. The UNAS Pro 8 is not qualified for professional video editing. You are now speaking to a person that sets up NAS systems for professional video editors and post production facilities, and I use Ubiquiti 10G and

Did Ubiquiti finally realize that seven unevenly spaced discs in a NAS looked stupid? The UNAS pro 8 looks much better.

unfortunately ubiquiti seems on a roll to push out full size rack releases recently, my peasant 500mm depth rack can't hold in, which the unas pro 8 is. at least i use it as an excuse to prevent myself from buying new toys. 😅
