honestly the G3 intercom is more about door communication than continuous recording. i looked into this before and the field of view is pretty narrow for street cars. you'd be better off with a G5 Bullet or G5 Pro for that angle - they have better range and motion detection. intercom works fine for

kinda fun to catch wildlife on camera. for night stuff the G5 Pro has really solid infrared and you can add the enhancer for more range. the G5 Bullet works too but the pro handles wooded areas better. i’d put them on a separate vlan so you don't flood your cabin wifi with constant motion alerts.
