best headset for playing the game

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3. They have solved the weakness in the headband/connection to the earpieces. The "super-human hearing" mode is without a doubt the best advantage anyone can have on PUBG - footsteps/distant vehicles are heard earlier and more clearly than any alternative.

Problems with my G7 Pro (Wuchang)

Man, I know you don't want to hear someone suggest this as an answer, but hear me out. While I do not have that issue, so I have no idea what may be causing it - it does sound like the controller isn't playing nice with the headset that's plugged into it. I would get a wireless headset. Now you can

Wireless headset recommendations? This is what is available at my local store.

I have absolutely no testing or frame of reference (other than my own) for this, but I stopped using Turtle Beach headsets a handful of years ago because I felt they weren't loud enough compared to other brands. The last I had was the Stealth 700, but this was nearly five years ago - and I don't kno

Can you use non-gaming headphones with consoles? If not, headset recommendations?

I don't know of any non gaming headsets that connect to Xbox. Connecting the Xbox without a dongle needs Xbox specific stuff that will only be on gaming headsets that have the right Xbox licensing. The Xbox won't necessarily recognise a device just because you connect a dongle either so I would chec

New to gaming, is Turtle Beach worth buying for casual PC + console play?

I’ll never buy Turtle Beach again. I suggest you find another brand. I like HyperX and Steel Series. My Stealth 700 Gen 1 was phenomenal at first but developed a weird software (maybe) glitch where the game/chat wheel would go all the way to the game side. I could no longer hear chat volume. It woul

Audeze Maxwell sounds the same as my Astro A50 and SteelSeries. What am I missing

The first time i switched from my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2's i had the same experience, is this where all the hype is about? But then i gave them a bit more time, so i could finetune/personalize my EQ settings, got used to the sound, and starting comparing them 1:1 with some high quality music

Audeze Maxwells

I just posted this in another thread where someone found them to sound the same as his current headset; The first time i switched from my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2's i had the same experience, is this where all the hype is about? But then i gave them a bit more time, so i could finetune/persona

Black Friday Decision…Advice Is Welcome

Had both. Im on my 4th pair of stealth pros. First one turtle beach replaced under factory warranty for the headband foam coming apart and the most recent one the mic stopped working properly. Decided I'd try the Stealth 700 Gen 3 and I returned them in a couple days and bought my 4th pair of stealt

Stealth 700 Gen 3 is a Downgrade from the Gen 2

I'm a year late, May 4th, 2026 lol but just wanted to chime in here and say that I've had mine now for about 8 months, still my main headset. I did the quick firmware update out of the box before using them, and have had zero issues, with my friends actually saying the mic quality is great, at least
