Cat tracker advice

I use Tractive Mini for my cat, it’s been reliable even when she hides under houses. Bluetooth ones drop signal too often, so GPS is better in suburbs. The Mini’s not too bulky either, my cat got used to it in a couple days.

I tested a bunch of cat trackers so you don’t have to (2025 cat-first picks)

Love this! I’ve been researching the best GPS trackers for cats lately because mine keeps “accidentally” exploring the neighbor’s roof. The Tractive CAT Mini keeps showing up in every review and looks like it’s the clear winner for reliability and range.

Mini Cat Tracker only lasting 24hrs now. What changed?

I have been communicating with support and they only respond with your rewritten responses about setting up safe zones, tracker battery consumption on live tracking. Yes, yes and yes, they have not looked into anything, little lone read my inquiry or looked at the account to see that yes I am obviou

Cat trackers for rural wooded area with poor mobile signal

Did you find something that works for you? I'm in rural Alaska, in a very wooded area. I use Tractive right now but it's not great. Also, to those that comment about the danger of collars - this is why they came up with the break away collar. If the collar gets caught on something, all they need to

For a rural setup like that, I’d probably lean toward a GPS cat tracker like Tractive first. Since your cat is roaming between barns and across the road, the live map makes it a lot easier to see exactly where they are before going out to grab them.

Cat tracker options - PetTracer?

Yes! I have the v2 and is so much easier to connect without cables and also to locate with the beeper, they still have the same LED which is only useful if is dark but I had to use it once and it was helpful as underneath a bush. For me is the only real solution right now as it is still the only tra

I haven’t personally tried the Fi Mini on my cats, but I’ve heard similar feedback about the GPS drift, especially in tighter neighborhoods. For under half a mile roaming, Tractive has been noticeably more consistent for me in terms of real-time updates and geofence alerts. And yes, you can do a mon

Cat tracker options - PetTracer?

I use Tractive and the collar comes with multiple strength options. I love it (probably saved my maniac of a cat’s life), but also saw a few good reviews on PetTracer. I think the thing with PetTracer that put me off is the gps only works a certain distance from home (0.5miles I think), and as my bo
