If you’re looking at Omada for a homelab on ~200€, the usual go-to is the TP‑Link SafeStream Gigabit Multi‑WAN VPN Router TL‑ER7206 (or the slightly newer ER7406) as your gateway + a separate AP. The ER7206 has 1× Gb SFP + multiple Gb Ethernet, VLAN (802.1Q), firewall rules, central Omada SDN manage

TP-Link Omada range has gateway routers that would work very well, and can work in failover or load-balancing modes. ER7206 for a gigabit WAN, or ER707 for 2.5Gbps WAN https://www.omadanetworks.com/uk/business-networking/omada-router-wired-router/

I would resist using multiple routers. You may run into problems with rogue DHCP and duplicate IP addresses unless you do a ton of configuration and have some level of control over what people plug into the network. There will be many recommendations for this situation, but here's how I did multi-wa

I second this. The TP-Link Omada is a prosumer range. Personally I have two WAN (broadband) connections and I'm currently using the ER7206 to do exactly what OP is after. It can handle three connections. The ER7206 Multi-wan router (gateway) has load balancing, and also has a Application Optimized R

Uy same tayo TP Link Omada. Hindi ba bottleneck yung ER605 sa iyo? I find na di niya kayang i-maintain yung 1gbps with DPI enabled hence I upgraded to ER7206. 10-15TB lang usage namin per month. Mostly used by my SMB server kasi nagreremote edit ako, I also run a public Minecraft server for my frien

Sure! You’re absolutely right. I’m incredibly busy, but I think I can offer some pretty significant insights. Here’s the basic information I can provide at this time. 1- Cost/benefit - I wanted to replace the ER605V2 router with a product that has more hardware capabilities. The only ones I found we

There's also an ER7206 gateway in there, behind the switch. This is a residential installation. The reason I went with a managed system is so that I could more easily build my own WiFi network, which needed to include indoor and outdoor devices. We help care for other folks among our friends and fam

This is where I am sure glad that with the Telus NAH, I can take the SFP module out and put it in a TP Link Omada ER7206. This has made my internet extremely stable and full speed almost all the time with no ping issues at all

I currently utilize three ISPs and have been running a MikroTik CCR2004 for the past three years. While it may be considered overkill for a residential setup, it has delivered flawless performance. RouterOS offers virtually limitless customization, which I find invaluable. For more budget-friendly o
