DECO XE75
An old cisco head, no expert. The "Daisy Chain" Tax Your current setup is configured in a line: Main Deco \rightarrow Deco 2 \rightarrow Deco 3 In a wireless mesh, every "hop" costs you bandwidth. Even though the XE75 has a dedicated 6GHz backhaul, Deco 3 has to repeat a signal that has already been

I get HUGE lagspikes even with ehternet.
Don't trust your ISP's wireless gear. You don't have ethernet, you have wireless. Full stop. If you must use wireless, try getting a couple TPLink Deco XE75 units and use 6Ghz band. Or go buy a longer ethernet cable!

Router recommendation for 1gb internet plan
I have deco XE75 wifi mesh network set up in my home. One as the AP connected to the ONT, one in the basement and one upstairs. I get 800 up and down on wifi with one spot around 400 up and down. Very easy set up, both with setting up nodes and entering ebox credentials. You can get them on sale on

Bedste WiFi løsning til 200 kvm hus uden kabeltræk? Mesh vs powerline vs andet

Possible Orbi RBR50 issues. Considering upgrading.
I had the same issue with my Orbi RBR50 / RBS50 mesh network years ago. In my case, it was the Orbi equipment, not my ISP. The network disconnects started occurring slowly, but became more of a issue as time went on. I ended up replacing my Orbi 50 mesh with a newer Orbi RBS850/RBR850 setup. The sam

can anyone help me understand why the speediest on the Nest WiFi pro links good, but what it broadcasts is so shit?
Replace my first gen pucks with TP-link Deco XE75s. Very happy with them, ran both with a wired backhaul.

Splitting wifi bands
Have you tried the new mesh ones? I've bought extender ones in the past and returned them. I got the deco xe75 pro mesh system after I upgraded to the new giga hub. Just 2 of them. My property is ~200x200feet, I put one on each side of my house inside. Garage-----------------------------------------

Deco XE75 vs XE75 Pro vs BE25
You currently don't have a need for the xe75 pro or the be25, given your current plan and devices. You can always upgrade to wifi-7 down the road in parts, and still make use of the xe75 for a period of time. The decos all work together fairly seamlessly. Unless the pro is very similar in price, I w

Need your opinion and technical help on wifi mesh system.
For your setup with 800 Mbps FTTP and two floors, mesh is definitely the right call. Single router in garage won't reach bedroom 2 properly. Best options under 600 AUD: TP-Link Deco BE85 (WiFi 7) - 550 for 2-pack. Future-proof, tri-band, 10G port for your FTTP. Place one in garage, one upstairs cent

Time to replace 1st gen?
I went from a 1st Gen Google WiFi system to the TP Link Deco XE75 system with 3 nodes. The XE75 supports up to 2.5GB speed from your ISP, so you have some upward compatibility there. It also supports IP6e, which gives you a dedicated WiFi 6 channel for interconnecting your two remote nodes to the ba
