Benefits of switching to AP7 from Deco 7 mesh?

I had 4 Deco XE75's (6E) and went to 4 AP7's. The Deco routing was terrible. There really is no separate VLAN for IoT, but they offer an IoT SSID and it does nothing other than reporting. You are best to get away from Deco. Now, that being said, the AP7's are great for VqLAN and managing them (and d

Is wireless backhaul always crap?

Bought a new home, moving in soon and trying to plan out how to make Internet functional.

The place is single story long and thin. 1960s build, every single wall internal and external is made of solid brick. It also has a flat roof. In other words it's a nightmare for running cables. No coax either

Deco XE75 Pro

I've just set up a new mesh system, with two nodes. The main one is in the kitchen, where the master socket is, with the secondary one in the office upstairs. I've set up a main network and a guest network.

The connection upstairs seems to be rock solid, but downstairs we can't connect to the main

Deco XE75 (AXE5400) devices keep disconnecting

I just upgraded my Google WiFi mesh system to the Deco XE75 (AXE5400) and the speed and coverage are excellent! My issue seems to be random devices just disconnecting constantly. I noticed my ring camera is constantly disconnecting/reconnecting. Then I started noticing other devices like my MyQ gara

Circle 2 cameras no longer showing in Home, yet show connected to network.

The past few months I've seen these repeatedly go offline at random times. They usually go offline together within a few minutes and nothing will bring them back except leaving them unplugged for a few hours. Now they only come back for a couple minutes before going offline again.

Network setup is

Eternal wait for the XE75 firmware update

This post is essentially meant to express my profound regret for purchasing the Deco XE75. I had been using the M5 for five years, and while I was generally satisfied with its performance, its coverage was quite limited. Consequently, I decided to upgrade to the three-pack XE75, which offered improv

RBR50… why replace?

I was in this same situation thinking why upgrade if it's working perfectly fine. I have a huge house and never had a single issue with my orbi r50 3 pack heck my wifi singal never dropped below full signal bars on my phone for the 7+ years I used it no matter where I was in my home. Well I decided

Lots of Issues with BE65 Pro and XE75 Pro Mixed mesh

Hey all, hoping the community has a workaround for a serious bug before I give up on this setup and go to All XE75 Pros.

My old 3-node Deco XE75 Pro network was rock solid for my 46 devices (mostly 2.4 GHz IoT).

The Upgrade:I replaced the Main and Office nodes with Deco BE65 Pro units (FW 1.1.3).

Deco XE75 - Device logic doesn't make sense

I've got 3 XE75 units in my home. One is hard wired to the Google fiber jack in the wall.

The other two are wirelessly connected spread in different parts of the house.

Two odd things going on:

  1. The satellite unit closest to the "main" unit has a weaker signal than the one significantly further a

TP Link Deco 6E XE75 Pro throttling to max 50 mbps?

I am having a very bizarre situation.

Setup: 1 gbps Fiber internet. Modem into Deco XE75 Pro Mesh with 2 satellites + 1 outdoor TP Link wifi 6 satellite. Desktop hardwired into main router in the office.

For the first week of having the new system, everything was working great. 600-900 mbps even o
