Deco X55

I replaced my 3-unit TP-Link AX3000 (Deco X55) mesh setup with two Cudy WR3000S models running OpenWRT, one in dumb AP mode. Depends on your budget and internet speed. As an other poster said you’d want one AP per floor. Get a 3 pack of TP Link deco- X55 or X75 would be fine or if you want more future proof then BE63 or similar. Should be in the 200-500 euro range. Omada and Unifi are better solutions, require a bit more

The Deco X55 is not going to be the right product for you. Especially in comparison with an Eero 7, which is a Wi-Fi 7 product. Get the 6ghz backhaul xe75 or xe70. I tested the deco x55 and it's not even close to the above. Trust me

I added an x55 to my Deco network and it caused all sorts of problems. After removing it, I haven't had any issues. The problem may be the x55s.
