What router do y'all use?

Depends on how big your house is and how many devices you have connected. I always aim to get a single beefy router; but if you have a large house you might be better off with a mesh system - something like Deco X55 is somewhat in your budget.

Router extensions and upgrade.

The VM extenders aren’t great and there isn’t much info available on the actual spec of them. My advice would be to put the hub (assuming it’s not the 5x) in modem mode and invest in some proper mesh WiFi system. I use the deco x55 and it works wonders and can act as your router if connect to the hu

"Vue is currently offline"

I've had my 2nd Gen Vue installed since late 2020, operating continuously since then. During this time I don't think I've ever noticed missing data or the inability to access the app. I access the data on my desktop (web), on my phone and on my tablets (I have an iPad and an Android tablet). I also

Deco X55 - Can I connect to the router wirelessly?

No, I do not think so, unless your router is also a TP-Link router and supports this mesh system. Otherwise what you can do is get another deco single pack cheap one, plug it into your router, and then plug the x55 wherever you want.

Shaw Airpods versus TPLink Deco

I recently switched to Rogers/Shaw 1G from Telus due to cost. I was getting good speeds 800+ near the Rogers router, but the pods were unreliable. They seemed to drop out constantly and I would have trouble reconnecting my iPhone. I would wake up every day with no connection and have to go stand bes

Extensor wifi 5G

need help

For the best connection you need to connect from router to your devices by ethernet, if you go from Main Access Point to upstairs via WiFi and then from there to xbox via ethernet, then you will probably still have a bottleneck with slow speeds at the WiFi connection. What is your current WiFi device

Does your mesh system perform well?

We have 2 deco x55, an x50, and an x10 with wired backhaul and everything works seamlessly. Great coverage all around the house.

Deco x55 issues

I would definitely put the Xfinity router as modem only mode (bridge Mode) and use one of your X55 as a router. Let the Deco do its job Xfinity Modem -> Deco X55 as router - > gigabit switch - > Wiredback haul to all your pucks !
