BE63 slowing down to a crawling speed
Thank you all for taking the time and for useful links and info. The deco features available in the router mode are definitely worth having. So just for fun I spent several hours trying various configurations, and confirmed that BE63 in its default (router) mode and Verizon wireless gateway router i

Rtings.com is now testing wireless latency to find the best Wi-Fi "gaming" router!
I'm surprised how many more latency spikes the satellite nodes had versus the main nodes in the Deco BE63 graphs. Were these with a dedicated backhaul?

Help choosing a router
Yes true but if he wants a mesh network than it can’t be done with the decos. I have the be63 decos and I saw the archer and was wanting to add it but when looking into it I would have to turn my decos in to access points and lose the pros of having an actual mesh network.

3 X50s vs 1 XE75 pro and 2 X50s
I've heard that Deco systems in general can have issues with video conferencing platforms. We occasionally have issues with Zoom here, along with class.com which I think is based on Microsoft teams. Some of our ring cameras also refuse to live stream, which is important to know because that's based

Any Router supporting 30+ Eufy cameras
Thanks to everybody for very helpful replies specifically addressing my issue. I am most curious to know which ubiquity router works flawlessly, and must it be the newer UDR7 with Wi-Fi 7 access points versus the older dream modem lacking Wi-Fi seven? I have discovered that the Deco is particularly

Random drops on deco BE63
I've got the same issue, but it seems to be isolated to my iPhone. I have three BE63 Decos running 1.2.10. My phone shows its connected to wifi, but just won't load anything for a minute or so, and then it starts working again. I don't think I had this issue on the previous firmware. It's super anno

Looking to transfer to a better setup (and offline one at that)
I can't recommend their network gear, you know, what they founded the entire company on, but Tp-Link's older Kasa smart home devices have been pretty much rock solid for us and have really only caused us issues on our Tp-Link Deco BE63 mesh system, ironically. Although that's honestly every device.

Best mesh WiFi system for a large house with dead zones and multiple floors?
What's wrong with Eero? We have a deco BE63 and have constant issues with devices being slow to respond on the local network, plus some of our cloud devices also are slow to respond. We are running Home Assistant, which I've been told by ChatGPT is causing some of the issues. We had considered Eero

Nothing but problems
What were the previous systems that you tried? For some reason, some Decos are fine, like the BE63 and BE65, and others just suck. None are honestly that great though. They are best for people that need a solid, OK, good, whatever, budget mesh system that still gives good speeds. And some of them de
