Agreed. I have the Deco BE95, and it has a lot more horsepower and more RAM than the BE25, as a result I only see a 80-100 Mbps drop in speed (2.85 Gbps w/VPN vs 2.95 + Gbps w/no VPN). The Deco BE25 is a very very low end router.

I’m guessing you’re got on Deco BE25 on a 10Gbps plan so straight away, you only use 2.5Gbps out of 10Gbps available from ISP to Router. Then router to client device, let’s say mobile phone, assuming your mobile phone also supports WiFi 7 MLO, you would be using 5Gbps out of 2.5Gbps available. So on

The BE25-Outdoor will work inside with no issues, but for the same price, you can get a 2-pack of the indoor Deco BE25.

Got the Deco BE25/BE5000 after trialling the Mercusys H23BE as I found the Mercusys rather underwhelming. Unfortunately, the Deco doesn't seem to fare any better despite being rated for 5Gbps (over the 3.6Gbps for the Mercusys). I get pretty much the same speed and signal strength. Feels like I just

I have a long, single story house. I put one node at the beginning, middle, and end. The signal between them fluctuate between weak and medium connection. But if I put them closer together for "strong" signal, , I don't seem to get great connection at the end of the house. It's only 3,500 and the De

that sucks. I have the similar set up as yours but with the lesser value one Deco BE25 ($200) which is wifi 7 dual bands pucks. My max speed on my wired is 1.7 (out of 2 gig) and my wifi on iphone 16 pro max is 1.45 sitting next to any of the Deco pucks. Everywhere else is around 1 to 1.2 in a 4500
