Which would be a great router choice for a home user ?
I have been using TP-Link Archer C6 for more than 2 years with OpenWrt firmware and have never experienced any issues at all. I have one spare TP-Link Archer C6 v3.2 available for sell. Please let me know if you need one.

Which would be a great router choice for a home user ?
TP-Link Archer C6 v3.2 is MediaTek based device and that SoC is very well supported by the OpenWrt. I have not experienced any Software or Hardware related issue with the combo of C6 v3.2 + OpenWrt. IMO, for budget constrained buyers, Jio JIDU6J01 is the best option out there for OpenWrt router. Peo

Will cudy wr 1500 be supported?
I would go for the Cudy because of the warnings on top of https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer_c6_v3, all the Cudys are easy to flash and recover.

Easy Mesh Between Archer C6 v4 and v3
I have a C6 V4 and a C6 V3.20, I'm not able to create the mesh network unfortunately, this is the shame TP-Link. I have no option to change the V3.20 to a satellite router, so it does not work at all. It's simple to update the firmware and add this option, and the worst thing is that in V4 dashboard

Qual a melhor opção pra firewall doméstico, sem gastar muito: OpenWRT, Mikrotik ou computador usado.
Eu comecei meu homelab com OpenWRT em roteadores TP-Link (Archer C6 v3). Dá pra fazer coisas bem legais, mas acabei me sentindo limitado pelo sistema, que também não é muito intuitivo. Hoje tenho um MikroTik E50UG (versão atualizada do RB750Gr3 que recomendaram) como roteador principal, e os TP-LInk
